Company Profile

Building operational excellence

MAG is the first intermediate body in Hungary to have established an all-round, entrepreneurial operational culture conforming to market practice, thus it is not only "close to enterprises" as regards grants but also in its operational structure.

In harmony with the core values of MAG and according to its operation structured on efficiency, clear lines of responsibility, quality execution of work and efficiency, right from the start the company endeavours to arrange a performance-based remuneration system connected to the provision of specific tasks for each commission. The overwhelming majority of the company's revenue has been generated on this basis since 2007.

The defining elements of corporate operation are retaining and motivating highly qualified employees and providing a workforce of quality recruits, the most important means of which are as follows:

  • Individual performance assessment system,
  • Talent management system,
  • In-house training staff,
  • Professional cooperation with institutions of higher education: Corvinus University, Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

From the aspects of the system of interests and performance-based remuneration, the thorough mapping of internal support processes as well as the provision of service provider relations based on in-house contracts setting the pre-defined service level agreement were determining, which can serve as the basis for transparent, predictable and service-based settlement between the professional and support areas.

The modern IT infrastructure supporting the company's internal processes has been constantly upgraded over the past three years.

  • An integrated corporate management system was introduced, which allows for unified IT support of MAG finance-accounting, controlling, HR and employment as well as procurement working processes.
  • The electronic document management system is a software solution providing support to some 400 users of the company (for document registration, digitization, tracking, archive functions etc.).
  • The introduction of the workflow system supporting the core processes of MAG allows faster tracking of, primarily, work processes and deadlines, plus it also simplifies updated information queries related to the work processes and tenders.

In regard to corporate operations, MAG continually monitors international and domestic best practices. From the viewpoint of organizational development the company considers this sort of information and exchanges of experience to be of critical importance.
